Designed for maximum user-friendliness, everything is configured and managed through the intuitive Carpe Iter Controller app, available for Android. From first-time setup to fine-tuning your button functions, the process is fast, clear, and efficient. No tools, no coding — just ride, configure, and enjoy.
✅ Button Configuration – You can configure Global Settings, which apply to all supported apps, or App-Specific Settings for customized behavior. Currently, App-Specific Settings are available for the TerraPirata Roadbook app, with more apps to be supported soon. These settings allow you to remap standard functions to different controller buttons or the joystick.
✅ HUD (“heads up display”), which gives access to additional features, such as touch lock for the case of rain, volume, brightness and media controls. The HUD is optimized for each controller type to give you graphical guidance – the layout of the HUD resembles the layout of the control elements on the controller
✅ Front Wheel Sensor Support – GPS-independent distance tracking via optional hall effect front wheel sensor (intended mainly for rally builds, not casual riding).

Other tested models: F900XR, S1000XR (K49 model only, up to 2019)
For S1000XR, check your e-throttle type! Only e-throttle models are supported – details in BMW Control Buttons description. BMW F900GS 2026+ has a different e-throttle grip, so the buttons do not fit!
Your bike must:
Be manufactured 2013 or later
Be equipped with the BMW Multi-Controller
Have the navigation option enabled in firmware (automatically enabled if “Navigation Preparation Kit” was installed or BMW Navigator V/VI cradle was used)
BMW Control Hub – The core of the system
BMW Control Buttons – Optional, but required for full functionality (also available separately)
If you only want basic functions (like map zooming, HUD access or map centering), you can get just the BMW Control Hub. You can always add the Buttons later.
