This cradle is packed with electronics designed to push the boundaries of what a navigation device can do on a motorcycle.

Ultra-Durable Construction: Molded from highly resilient, glass-fiber filled nylon for maximum toughness and all-around protection.

Smart Power Management: Designed for direct 12V connection with embedded voltage stabilization. It handles electrical spikes and prevents vehicle battery drain via an automatic sleep mode. Reverse polarity, overvoltage and overheat protection as well as auto-reset fuse included.

Safety Logic: The connector pins are “live” only when Caretta is inserted. This prevents short circuits if the exposed cradle is hit by water or metal objects when the device is removed.

Quick-Release Blade Connectors: Allows for instant docking—on and off the bike in seconds. It provides a connection robust enough for any terrain (eliminating the need for the external M8 connectors used on CI Pads).

Hardwired Integration:

• Controllers: Direct connectivity for external remote controllers and other accessories.
• OBD: Direct cable connection to the bike’s OBD (no Bluetooth dongle needed) via Carpe Iter Adapter Cables.
• BMW: Plug-and-play on BMW models with socket for BMW Navigator via Carpe Iter BMW Adaptor Cable (other models in planning).

Advanced Vibration Isolation: A “free-float” system using high-quality silicone dampers isolates the device mounting points from the chassis, preventing the transfer of high-frequency engine vibrations.

Smart Retention Mechanism:

• Intuitive: Slide-and-click insertion with a simple push-lever release.
• Lockable: prevents theft of opportunity.
